In 2018, Nisha was a city banker trapped in an unhappy corporate existence. Armed with nothing but a lifelong passion for home cooking, Nisha left her well-paid career and took a leap of faith into the world of professional cooking, finishing as a semifinaslist on Masterchef.
A few years on and Nisha is a highly successful self-taught chef, a social influencer with 80,000 Instagram followers, and is one of the most popular names in celebrity private dining. Slots for her sought-after dinner parties are booked up over 12 months in advance.
Her signature dishes - think Goan Salmon Curry and Lamb Gyoza Samosa - have attracted a range of A-list clients including Joe Wicks, Ellie Goulding, Tom & Gi Fletcher, Matt & Emma Willis and Marvin & Rochelle Humes. Nisha has also showcased her menus in grand venues and special events such as The Unicef Soccer Aid Gala at The Science Museum in London and most recently at St Paul’s Cathedral for MS Society.

Last weekend, Pub In The Park Chiswick was delighted to a dessert masterclass from Nisha Parmar, Nisha was joined by Danny Jones for the demonstration. The pair showcased Nisha's mouth-watering BBQ amaretto peaches with whipped mascarpone and crushed amaretti recipe, cooked over an open fire. What a wonderful way to end the summer BBQ season!
